Keeping the dust where the work is

- Walk-off mats at every zone exit, changed as they load up
- Nightly damp-wipe of surfaces next to the work zone
- Vacuum before mopping so fine dust is picked up, not smeared
- Clean the work path: corridors, elevators, stairwells, restrooms
- Wipe vents and returns near the work area; flag HVAC concerns to the contractor
Fine drywall and sanding dust is the main complaint during an occupied renovation. It rides on shoes and carts, drifts through doorways and settles on desks two rooms away. Dry dusting just lifts it back into the air.
We use damp methods, clean from high to low, and focus on the routes people and materials take through the building. The contractor owns the containment; we make sure what escapes it doesn't become your staff's or tenants' problem.

Plan the zones
We walk the project with you and the contractor, map the work zones, occupied areas and routes, and agree when we can be in each space.
Clean during the work
Nightly or between trade phases, we clean the work path and adjacent occupied areas and clear light debris so the building stays usable.
Final clean per zone
When a zone finishes, it gets a full detail clean — dust top to bottom, glass, fixtures, vents, floors — and is handed back for use.
Touch-up at close-out
At the end of the project we sweep the whole building once more for settled dust and last-trade marks.

Occupied renovations we clean
Offices. One floor or one suite at a time, with the rest of the office working. We clean the work zone and the path to it nightly so Monday morning doesn't start with grit on every desk.
Medical and dental. Exam rooms and operatories renovated while the practice sees patients. Tight dust control and a thorough zone clean before a room goes back into service.
Apartment buildings. Unit renovations while neighbors live on the same hallway. We keep corridors, elevators and stairwells clean along the route crews use, and turn the finished unit rent-ready — the same approach we use in make-ready and turnover work.

How is renovation cleaning different from post-construction cleaning?
Post-construction cleaning is the handoff clean for a finished, usually empty, build. Renovation cleaning happens while the building is still in use: we keep dust out of occupied areas during the work, clean in phases as each area finishes, and return each zone to service. Can you clean while renovation work is still going on?
Yes. That's the core of the service. We clean the work path and adjacent occupied areas nightly or between trade phases, coordinate with your contractor, and stay out of active work zones.
How do you control dust in occupied areas?
We work with your contractor's containment, keep walk-off mats at zone exits, damp-wipe surfaces instead of dry-dusting, vacuum before mopping, and clean corridors, elevators and restrooms along the work path so dust doesn't travel through the building.
Do you handle both residential and commercial renovation projects?
Yes. We clean occupied office floors, medical and retail spaces under renovation, apartment buildings with units being renovated while neighbors live next door, and individual units and homes after a remodel.
Can you clean one floor or wing at a time?
