The three phases of post-construction cleaning
A finished build isn't cleaned in one pass. We break it into three phases so the space is safe to work in, detailed to a finish, and ready the moment you hand over the keys.
Rough clean
Done during or right after the major work. We clear construction debris, bag out trash, pull stickers and packaging, and knock down the heavy drywall dust and jobsite grime so the trades that follow have a clean, safe surface to finish on. This phase keeps a project moving instead of tripping over its own mess.
Final clean
The detailed pass. We wipe down every surface, detail fixtures, vents and hardware, clean interior glass, window frames and tracks, and scrub and finish the floors. Baseboards, frames, sills and corners are worked by hand. This is the phase that turns a built-out shell into a space that shows well.
Touch-up clean
The last look before handoff or occupancy. Right before your walkthrough, inspection or move-in date, we return to remove settled dust, fingerprints and debris left by final trades. The space is handoff-ready on the date you committed to your client or tenant.
What we remove and detail
The biggest challenge after a build is dust. Sanding drywall and cutting materials puts fine particulate into the air that settles into every seam, on top of every door frame, inside light fixtures and across every horizontal surface long after the trades leave. A quick sweep just moves it around. We work top-down — high surfaces, fixtures and vents first, floors last — and detail by hand so the dust is actually removed. That's the difference between a space that looks clean for an hour and one that stays clean for the walkthrough.
Beyond dust, we deal with the marks a finished build always leaves: adhesive and stickers on new windows and appliances, paint overspray on glass and hardware, joint-compound haze on floors, and grout haze on new tile.

What is post-construction cleaning?
Post-construction cleaning is the specialized cleanup that takes a newly built or renovated space from a debris-filled jobsite to a finished, occupiable space. It removes construction dust, debris, adhesive and residue that ordinary cleaning isn't equipped to handle, and details surfaces, glass, fixtures and floors so the space is ready for handoff, inspection or move-in.
What are the phases of post-construction cleaning?
There are three: the rough clean during or right after major work (debris, trash, heavy dust), the final clean that details surfaces, fixtures, glass and floors, and the touch-up clean right before handoff or occupancy that removes settled dust and last-minute debris. Not every project needs all three — we match the phases to your timeline.
How is post-construction cleaning priced?
Every job is quoted on the size of the space and the scope — square footage, the phases you need, and how much detail the handoff requires. No two builds leave the same mess, so we don't use a flat rate. The estimate is free and built for your specific project.
How soon can you clean after construction?
We schedule around your build and your punch list. Because we operate 24/7 — including overnight and weekend turnarounds — we can often clean on the exact day you need the space ready, even when the last trade walks off late in the day.
Do you haul away construction debris?
Yes. Debris collection and haul-out are part of the work — we bag out trash, clear leftover material and coordinate removal so the space is actually cleared, not just swept.
Do you clean windows and vents?
Yes. We clean interior windows, frames and tracks, and we detail vents, light fixtures and hardware as part of the final clean. These are exactly the spots where construction dust hides and a quick clean misses.
Are you insured?
Yes. TPS Pro is fully insured, and we provide a certificate of insurance — with your additional-insured wording — and a W-9 before day one, so your documentation is in place before we mobilize.
Do you also do the renovation or buildout itself?
Yes. We handle renovations and construction — buildouts, paint, flooring and drywall — so the same company that builds your space can also clean it. One company, one contract, from demo to done.
